Security teams make consequential decisions daily, often under pressure, with dense and fast-moving information. The product has to earn their trust — speed, clarity, and genuine usefulness all matter at once.
This is a Series A AI cybersecurity startup applying LLMs and agents to vulnerability management, with an engineering team of ~15 fully remote across European time zones.
The team wants a full-stack engineer with genuine product sense — someone who understands the why behind features, not just the technical ticket.
What you'll do
- Own product features end-to-end — React UI through to API implementation and database layer
- Build intuitive interfaces for complex security workflows using React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS
- Design and maintain performant REST APIs in Python/FastAPI with clean architecture and strong database performance
- Make technical decisions quickly and ship without waiting for perfect requirements
- Optimise performance across the stack, from query efficiency to frontend rendering
- Contribute to architectural discussions as the product and team scale
- Iterate fast on customer feedback without compromising code quality
What you'll need
- 5–10 years building production applications with genuine strength in both frontend and backend
- Strong TypeScript and React experience in production environments
- Solid RESTful API development, preferably Python
- B2B SaaS background — you understand how enterprise users think about product
- Strong database instincts: query performance, data modelling, and understanding of scale
- High autonomy and product sense — you identify what needs building and execute without being told
Optional Bonus
- Python/FastAPI or Temporal workflow experience
- Kubernetes/EKS familiarity
- Experience integrating LLMs into production applications
- Familiarity with TanStack ecosystem, shadcn/ui, or Radix UI
