VC-backed GenAI startup building an AI-native platform for financial modelling, replacing legacy spreadsheet workflows. The team is small and engineering-led, focused on hiring top-tier talent while serving major enterprise customers.
What you'll do
- Build core product features end-to-end across backend (primarily) and frontend
- Write performance-critical code and optimise system performance
- Develop and improve an AI coding agent that reasons over complex spreadsheet models
- Own backend infrastructure, CI pipelines, and low-level debugging
- Ship quickly while maintaining high quality standards
Tech Stack: TypeScript (primary, with Node/React), Rust (performance-critical components), AWS, Claude Code/Cursor
What you'll need
- Clear evidence of top-tier engineering ability
- Strong language-agnostic engineering fundamentals
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Comfort with AI-assisted development tools
- High agency and self-driven mindset
- Ability to work on-site in London five days per week
