About
London-based startup rebuilding manufacturing as software-first infrastructure. The company aims to transform factories into systems orchestrated like distributed infrastructure, rebuilding the full stack in-house rather than layering on legacy ERP systems.
You will work closely with engineering and shop-floor teams in a fast-moving, highly technical environment.
What you'll do
- Build and evolve a real-time orchestration system that plans and routes orders across factories
- Design deterministic production flows
- Integrate AI agents to automate order splitting, routing, and material planning
- Develop core systems such as inventory management and scheduling from scratch
- Optimise routing engines through model tuning, data cleaning, and production feedback
- Work directly with operators to translate operational pain points into shipped product
What you'll need
- 2–6 years of software engineering experience with end-to-end project delivery
- Strong academic background in a STEM discipline
- Generalist mindset across backend, infrastructure, data, and automation
- Strong coding fundamentals (current stack is TypeScript-heavy, but prior TS experience not required)
- Experience deploying production systems in cloud environments
- Ability to break complex real-world problems into solvable components
- High ownership and ability to operate independently
