About
Understanding position, movement, and environment in real-world conditions is a core blocker for autonomy.
This is an early-stage robotics company building the intelligence layer for industrial machines – forklifts, cranes, excavators and other heavy equipment. The approach is pragmatic: start with remote teleoperation to generate real-world operator data at scale, then train Vision-Language-Action models toward increasing autonomy.
You’ll lead perception and navigation systems across localisation, mapping, and motion.
What you'll do
- Design perception and navigation systems
- Build SLAM and localisation pipelines
- Integrate sensor data into control systems
- Improve robustness in real environments
- Work across control and ML approaches
- Lead technical direction for navigation
What you'll need
- Strong experience in SLAM or robotics navigation
- C++ or similar systems language
- Experience with real-world robotic systems
- Understanding of control and planning
- Ability to bridge classical and ML methods
